Professional Animal Laboratory Inc.: The veterinary laboratory in Irvine has been bought for $9.5 million by Santa Monica-based Veterinary Centers of America Inc., the companies said Friday. Veterinary Centers, which owns and operates 27 veterinary hospitals and clinics, will also buy the building in which Professional Animal Laboratory is the principal tenant.
