Offshore O.C. Airport

Osaka International Airport opens sometime this year. It was developed through a consortium of government, technical, industry and business interests. Why is it unique? It was built five miles offshore .

We can do better. Our oil platforms have shown outstanding stability offshore. Orange County and nearby areas have the best technical people and know-how in the world. We could end the bickering concerning land overflights and aviation noise--there would be none. Closed military bases could be utilized for the needed projects of low-cost housing, facilities for the homeless, and penal correctional facilities at little or no cost to taxpayers.

It is time to move into the 21st Century to offshore airport technology.
