Retired Marshal, Accused of Molesting Boys, Kills Self

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. —
A retired U.S. marshal fatally shot himself in the head as deputies knocked at his door to arrest him on 13 counts of sexually abusing three boys, police said Friday.
James Meyers, 59, was found in the bathtub with a gunshot wound to the head and a 9-millimeter pistol nearby, police said.
