Five Unbeaten Fighters Headline Card

Five unbeaten fighters, including Carlos (Famous) Hernandez, will headline tonight’sboxing card at the Irvine Marriott.

Hernandez, who has seven knockouts and a 14-0 record, will face Paris Alexander (18-7) in the 10-round main event. Alexander, who has five knockouts, was knocked out in the second round of a bout against Oscar de la Hoya.

Other bouts on the card include Dwayne Rosette (6-0) against Jimmy Bills (15-13), 198 pounds; Manny Nava (5-0) against John Ramerez (8-5), 128 pounds, and Roy Villanuves(4-0) against Junior Nee Quaya(2-0), 170 pounds. John Vasquez and Pablo Barrios will make their pro debuts in a 119-pound bout. The first bout begins at 7:30 p.m.
