Semple has been appointed president, chief executive and chief financial officer of American Telephone & Data Inc. in Newport Beach and its wholly owned subsidiary, T W Communications Inc., a telecommunications long-distance reseller in Phoenix. Semple is a member of an investment group that recently completed a major loan agreement with the company.
