Incomnet Rebounds to Show 4th-Quarter Profit

Incomnet Inc., a Woodland Hills telecommunications company, reported a fourth-quarter profit of $316,488, rebounding from a loss of $1.44 million in the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter that ended Dec. 31 more than doubled to $5.07 million, from $2.31 million.

For all of 1993, the company posted a loss of $948,769 compared with a loss of $2.02 million for 1992. Incomnet said results in 1993 included restructuring charges of about $1.4 million for its subsidiary, National Telephone & Communications.

Revenue for 1993 doubled to $11.3 million, from $5.53 million for 1992. Incomnet said it expects revenue to grow to about $30 million this year, boosted by its telephone subsidiary, NTC, in which Incomnet has invested about $5 million during the last two years to prepare.
