MONTEREY PARK/ ROSEMEAD : Soroptimists Offer Scholarship for Citizen
Soroptimist International of Monterey Park/Rosemead is accepting applications for its annual scholarship for a financially needy student in the area who is a U.S. citizen. Applicants may be male or female and must have completed one year of college.
Financial need does not necessarily require a low income because of high tuition at some schools.
Applications are available at the Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce, 163 W. Garvey Ave., or Bruggemeyer Memorial Library, 318 S. Ramona Ave., Monterey Park, and the Rosemead Chamber of Commerce, 3953 Muscatel Ave., or by calling (818) 308-2380. Applications must be postmarked no later than April 29.
