Dealer Inventory Falls in March: U.S. inventories of domestically made vehicles from General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Co. and Chrysler Corp. declined to a 58-day supply in late March from 62 days as of Feb. 28, according to Ward’s Automotive Reports. The Big Three auto makers are straining to get enough vehicles on dealer lots to meet increased demand, especially in the light-truck category.
