BEVERLY HILLS : Jackson Fan Charged in Calls to Figure in Lawsuit

Share

A Michael Jackson fan was charged Monday with three misdemeanor counts for allegedly making obscene phone calls to the father of a boy who filed a civil lawsuit against the singer.

Deputy Dist. Atty. Rhonda Saunders said Denise Michelle Pfeiffer, 24, a native of Great Britain, was arrested Thursday after scrawling graffiti on the sidewalk outside the office of the teen-age boy’s father March 31.

Police investigators said the obscene telephone calls charge stems from a message left on the answering machine at the father’s office March 28. Two days later, Pfeiffer allegedly stole the keys to the restroom of his Beverly Hills office.

Pfeiffer, who has been in the United States for about a month, was arrested at the father’s house after a family member talked to her and called police, investigators said.

Jackson has been the focus of investigations in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties since last summer, when the then 13-year-old boy claimed that he had been molested by the superstar.
