Warren Simmons, a former Cal State Fullerton and Washington Redskin assistant, was named tight ends coach with the Rams, Coach Chuck Knox announced Tuesday.
Simmons, 53, has coached tight ends, the offensive line and wide receivers during his 12 seasons (1981-93) with the Redskins.
He played center at San Diego State with Ram special teams coach Wayne Sevier before coaching at Fullerton from 1984-88.
