Lockheed Missile Unit Plans More Job Cuts: The company's missiles and space group in Sunnyvale, Calif., said it will eliminate another 600 jobs by midyear in response to continuing declines in Pentagon spending. The division, which has cut 800 positions since Jan. 1, also said it will probably reduce its work force by an additional 1,500 jobs in the second half of 1994. The division, part of Calabasas-based Lockheed Corp., currently employs 16,750 and has not yet decided how the reductions will be divided between layoffs and attrition, a spokesman said.
