Aircraft Plant May Be Built in U.S.: The government is looking to build a plant to facilitate sales for commuter planes made by the state-run Nusantara Aircraft Industry. Minister of Research and Technology B.J. Habibie said the matter will be discussed during a visit next month to Oregon, Utah, Alabama, Kansas and Washington, D.C. Those are considered likely sites for the plant. The prototype of the commuter plane, the N-250, is being designed by Nusantara and is expected to be completed in November. Habibie did not say how much Indonesia proposes to invest in a U.S. plant.
