New MicroNet CEO Comes From Apple

The general manager of Apple Computer’s business systems division announced Monday that he is leaving to become president and chief executive officer of MicroNet Technology Inc. in Irvine.

Morris Taradalsky, who joined Apple in 1989, previously worked at IBM for 18 years. His last position there was as general manager of IBM’s Santa Teresa Laboratory.

“Taradalsky gives MicroNet the leadership and technical knowledge to manage the company . . . into the 21st Century,” said Dennis Bradshaw, executive vice president of MicroNet.

MicroNet, a 6-year-old maker of data storage equipment, has designed systems for Apple, as well as IBM and Novell computers. The company has annual revenue of nearly $100 million.
