FULLERTON : School Offering Parenting Advice

Orangethorpe Elementary School is inviting parents to attend parenting workshops on Tuesday mornings beginning today. The workshops will include the following topics:

* Self-esteem: The root of success in school and life, tonight.

* Setting rules and limits: Allowing consequences to change behavior, April 26.

* Communication: How to get children to talk without nagging them, May 3.

* Talking about sex: What to say and when to say it, May 10.

* Drugs and alcohol: How parents can protect their children, May 17.

* Teen-agers today: Why they break away from their parents, May 24.
