SAN CLEMENTE : Health Care Center to Hold Open House
The Adult Day Health Care Center of South Orange County will have an open house daily this week for anyone interested in its services.
The 3-year-old center, which accepts MediCal and offers physical and occupational therapy as well as social activities and emotional support, is designed to help adults who are not in nursing homes but who could benefit from various therapies.
Stroke sufferers can receive speech and occupational therapy. The center has an on-site registered nurse, social worker and numerous physical therapists to help people cope with the challenges of aging.
The center, at 2021 Calle Frontera in San Clemente, is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and provides round-trip transportation for its patients along with two meals and a light snack daily. Anyone over 18 is qualified to participate.
