Newport Beach’s Baldwin Co. Appoints 2 New Division Presidents

Michael R. Engle and Louis J. Malone have been appointed division presidents for the Baldwin Co., a Newport Beach home builder. Engle will head the company’s Orange County division, while Malone will run the Ventura division. Engle has more than 20 years’ experience, most recently as senior vice president and division manager of Southwest Diversified/Coscan Partners. He also spent six years as executive vice president for the Sunnyglen Corp., a commercial, industrial and residential development company. Malone has headed his own company, Malone Homes in Tustin, since 1987. He was formerly president and chief operating officer of Donald Bren Co. in Newport Beach and, before that, executive vice president and chief financial officer of McCarthy Co. in Santa Ana.
