Unheeding Council
* Why have elections on local issues when the City Council won’t listen?
The voters said no to fireworks--backed by the firefighters, police and most other cities.
Yet three of the Stanton council (members) feel the local clubs to which they belong need money, so they said to hell with what the people want, then placed their wants over the safety of people and property by repealing the fireworks ban.
When are they going to learn that they are placed in their positions to represent the residents of their city--not for their desires?
