Britain’s “House of Horror,” where police have exhumed nine female bodies, is being put up for sale, lawyers for accused serial killer Frederick West and his wife, Rosemary, said Tuesday.

West, a 52-year-old builder, has been charged with the murder of nine young women whose remains were dug up by police from the yard, cellar and a bathroom wall at the house in a police operation that began in February.

He has also been charged with the murder of his first wife, Catherine, whose remains were found in a field near the village of Much Marcle, northwest of Gloucester. Rosemary West has also been charged with one of the murders.

Police on Tuesday began digging for bodies at a second home once occupied by West, also located in Gloucester.

They said they had no objection to the sale of the house at 25 Cromwell St., dubbed the “House of Horror” by British media.
