Fidelity National Financial Inc.: The Irvine title insurance underwriter posted a 58% gain in profit for the first quarter, to $6.8 million, or 43 cents a share, from $4.3 million, or 31 cents a share, for the 1993 quarter. Revenue increased 30% to $143.6 million from $110.4 million. The company attributed the results to the high level of home refinancing activity that continued into January and February.
