To all the Magic-bashing Laker fans:
You surely must not be from California, or just moved here, or have a bad case of memory loss. Magic Johnson is and always will be Los Angeles Lakers basketball--playing, retired, playing, retired, coaching, retired. It’s his privilege. He has earned it.
We should be so thankful to have him around and willing to help, no matter what the duration. Maybe it didn’t turn out like all the other Magic fairy tales he has treated us to, but his assessment of the team was fair and honest, and he certainly addressed some issues that not too many men would have the courage to do.
Leave Magic alone! He was the only Laker highlight of the season.
Don’t worry, Magic, you can’t make everybody happy, no matter how much you do.
The people who wrote those negative letters are probably spoiled and very unhappy and will be miserable for the rest of their lives.
Look up the word dilettante in the dictionary--you will find a picture of Magic Johnson, basketball coach.
