Here’s to Mom: Mervyn’s and the Salvation Army will celebrate Mother’s Day by giving 30 deserving mothers in Orange County $100 each to spend on a Mervyn’s shopping spree.
“These moms really represent the true meaning of Mother’s Day,” said Dolores Barrett, director of social services for the Salvation Army in Santa Ana. “All . . . were selected because of their dedication to their families’ well-being and their commitment to improving their lives, despite difficult circumstances.”
