Pacific Scientific Buys English Firm’s Assets
NEWPORT BEACH —
Pacific Scientific Co., a maker of electrical and safety equipment, on Monday acquired the assets of Royce Thompson Electric Ltd., a maker of street light controls in the United Kingdom, for an undisclosed price.
Pacific Scientific said the deal was a strategic expansion in its lighting controls business, which is headed by its Weymouth, Mass.-based Fisher Pierce division. Royce Thompson Electric in Birmingham, England, has revenue estimated at $4.5 million.
