LOS ANGELES COUNTY : Supervisors OK Water Ads on Lifeguard Stations, Buoys
County supervisors approved a marketing deal Tuesday with the distributors of a brand of bottled water that grants the company the right to advertise on lifeguard towers and rescue buoys.
Without comment, the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the deal with Naya bottled water, which will bring in nearly $160,000 a year for the cash-strapped Department of Beaches and Harbors.
