The Mezzanine Restaurant will host Mystery Cafe players Sunday for a performance of the “Zodiac Club,” an audience-participation mystery set in a 1920s speak-easy.

Diners are invited to join in solving the mystery or just sit back and enjoy the show.

On the menu are spinach and crab meat salad, turkey breast with mushroom sauce and an ice cream truffle with raspberry sauce. The children’s menu is a green salad, chicken fingers, fries and an ice cream bar. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and brunch begins at noon.

Tickets are $49 for adults (tax and tip included) and $29 for children under 16.

The Black Sheep Bistro will hold its fifth annual fund-raiser on Sunday for the City of Hope Cancer Research Center in Duarte.

A $25 prix fixe menu includes assorted Spanish tapas, a green salad and a choice of linguine pomodoro , chicken with herb garlic sauce or venison chops. For dessert, there are fresh berries or an Italian sundae.

A la carte entrees are $8 and include chicken salad, shrimp sandwich, breast of chicken with spicy cilantro sauce, sausage and peppers with spinach fettuccine and loin of lamb.

Mrs. Gooch’s, an upscale grocer and natural-foods store, is planning to open its first Orange County location in the fall. The grocer has seven stores in the L.A. area.

The company said it plans to locate in the Tustin Courtyard, off Newport Avenue in Tustin.
