PASADENA : Urban League Unveils New, Larger Quarters
The Pasadena-Foothill Branch of the Los Angeles Urban League opened its doors in new quarters May 5 with an open house attended by more than 400 people.
The new quarters at 1200 N. Fair Oaks Ave. in the Fair Oaks Business Park contain 4,000 square feet of working space, more than double the area of the old office on Orange Grove Boulevard, Executive Director Shirley Adams said. The league obtained a five-year lease on the new office, after which the agency hopes to buy its own building, Adams said.
