A candidates forum for the Antelope Municipal Court will be held at 7 tonight at Lancaster City Park, Stanley Kleiner Building, 43063 10th St. West. The event is sponsored by the High Desert Criminal Defense Bar Assn. Admission is free. Information: (805) 942-5205.

A candidates forum for state and regional offices will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Sportsmen’s Lodge, 12833 Ventura Blvd., Studio City. Candidates will have informational booths and respond to questions in forum sessions. Offices that will be represented include local congressional, Assembly and state Senate districts, and statewide lieutenant governor, secretary of state, treasurer, controller and insurance commissioner. Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi, who is running for governor in the Democratic primary, will speak from noon to 1:30 p.m. The event is presented by the State Issues Subcommittee of the Valley Industry and Commerce Assn. (VICA). Cost is $16 for breakfast and $25 for lunch for VICA members. Non-members will pay $20 for breakfast and $30 for lunch. Reservations: (818) 888-2228.
