HELP WANTED: For 15 months the rubble from a massive landslide has blocked Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point, drawing the ire of local businesses and detoured motorists. But surprisingly, the construction community hasn’t shown much interest in landing the $3-million restoration job. . . . “We’ve had no calls, zero, from anyone interested in the entire project,” says city official Andy Anderson. After much federal red tape, the city will soon seek bids on clearing the road.

HER LIGHTER SIDE: Louise Fletcher is best known for her Academy Award-winning role as mean-spirited Nurse Ratched in 1975’s “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” But the busy actress would rather talk about her antique paintings, often collected while on location. . . . Fletcher’s first show will be at the three-day Capistrano Antique & Garden Show, which opens today in San Juan Capistrano. “Most of what I buy are 18th- or 19th-Century decorative pieces,” she says. “I just like things that are pretty.”

STILL COOKIN’: Newport Beach millionaire John Crean’s and his kitchen partner Barbara Venezia’s “At Home on the Range” show has disappeared from network TV with the demise of ABC’s “Home Show.” But they’re still cooking on local cable channels. They’ve also been talking with ABC’s “Mike & Maty” and some other shows. . . . “The Food Channel told us they were looking for serious cooking shows,” complains Venezia. Crean is unperturbed by the show’s wavering fortunes: “I just show up and cook.”

STAR-BERRIES: Take note, celebrity watchers: The Strawberry Festival in Garden Grove has announced the lineup for its annual kickoff parade on Memorial Day weekend. More than 20 celebrities will smile and wave to the crowd from convertibles. . . . This year’s parade list includes: Richard Moll (Bull on “Night Court”), Vlade Divac (the Lakers center), Jonelle Allen (Grace on “Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman”) and Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding on “Saved by the Bell”).
