11 Die in Shootout at Colombian Bank

BOGOTA, Colombia —
Eleven people were killed Thursday in a shootout between police and a gang that tried to rob a bank in Cali, police said.
A phone call alerted police to the robbery at a branch of Banco de Colombia. Eight of the robbers were killed in the shootout, along with a taxi driver and two passersby, police said.
