Politics: Candidates for State Office to Attend Forum
Trinity Baptist Church in Crenshaw is hosting a public forum today for candidates running for state offices.
The forum, which will feature panel discussions with candidates for the 47th state Assembly District, will be held at 1 p.m. at the church in the J.L. Caston Fellowship Center, 2040 W. Jefferson Blvd.
Gubernatorial candidates Tom Hayden and John Garamendi are scheduled to attend, as well as secretary of state candidate Gwen Moore, Supt. of Public Instruction candidate Wilbert Smith and 47th District hopefuls Valerie Shaw, Geoff Gibbs, Ed Johnson, Kevin Murray and Leslie Roberson.
