LONG BEACH : Panel to Hold Session on Gang Violence
The Long Beach Human Relations Commission has scheduled a public study session tonight on escalating gang violence, particularly among Asian and Latino youths.
Representatives from the Long Beach Unified School District, the Police Department and the police chief’s advisory committees from the Asian and Latino communities are expected to attend, said Paul Dadez, clerk for the Human Relations Commission.
The study session begins at 6 in Room 104 of the city’s Health and Human Services Department, 2525 Grand Ave.
