The 36th annual Pacific Coast Builders Conference, long considered the West’s premiere building industry trade show, will open June 16 for a three-day run in San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Reflecting the growing importance of the $105 billion-a-year U.S. remodeling industry, this PCBC has added “Remodelers Show” to its name.

Some 2,000 home builders and several hundred remodeling contractors, along with thousands of members of allied fields, are expected to attend the show, which features 55,000 square feet of products and services for the home and home-building industry, as well as dozens of educational programs and an architecture and design competition.

A highlight of the show will be New Home 2000, a nine-room model home built on the exhibit hall floor and featuring advanced design concepts, construction technologies and produce innovations that could reshape home-building and consumers’ lifestyles in the next century.
