Looking for that perfect negligee? Satin underpants? Massage oil? Cable television’s next generation of home shopping is looking for you.

The fledgling Adam & Eve Channel and Cupid Network Television are selling sexy garments, books, videos, unguents, oils, games and toys.

Cupid’s format is standard: ordering number, description, price, 800 number and credit card options appear on screen. Oh, and a live model or two.

“It’s aiming at the married couple,” said Offer Assis, Cupid president. “We think sex is nice, and the better you have sex at home, the more chance there is to keep your marriage alive. We are more conservative than Playboy. We’d rather be introduced as a ‘love and romance’ channel.”
