DMV Computers

In response to “Sales Pitches Swayed DMV, Report on Computer Debacle Says,” (May 25): You insult the intelligence of your readers. The problem was not technology but bad management. Somebody should have questioned what was going on when Ernst & Young pulled out.

It is ironic that in the same issue (Business) you highlight “client-server” technology that has as part of its foundation “relational technology.” The DMV problem was not government or technology or anything other than incompetent management.
