BREA : Mayor Plans to Seek Reelection
Mayor Glenn G. Parker has announced that he will seek reelection to a second term in November.
“Although I have achieved a significant number of the goals that I committed to pursue when elected in 1990,” Parker said in a prepared statement, “there are some long-terms goals” yet to pursue. He cited the future of the hillsides to the city’s north, development and implementation of a revised Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and the completion of the downtown redevelopment program.
Parker, 41, is the owner of Brea-based Park Glen Community Management Inc., which provides management services to homeowner associations.
