Bravo. Your soccer coverage on Tuesday, “Ruud Gullit Quits” by Grahame L. Jones was exactly what I and many others I know have been hoping to see in your paper: well-researched and informative coverage of the major participants on the world scene.
The up close and personal daily articles are a pleasant frosting to the cake of solid game and performance information.
I hope you can even keep a little of this world and local soccer coverage after the World Cup ’94 is over.
