The Los Angeles City Council has posted a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the men who gunned down a Hancock Park choirmaster outside a Los Feliz convenience store April 21.
David Falconer, the organist and choirmaster at St. James Episcopal Church and School, was shot to death about 10 p.m. as he was leaving a store in the 1800 block of North Hillhurst Avenue.
The suspects are described having dark complexions and as possibly of Armenian, Romanian or Latino descent in their early to mid-20s. Detectives said the assailants fled in an orange or reddish-orange, older model Japanese hatchback.
People with any information about the case or the suspects are urged to call Detectives Joe Berumen and Brenda Pauly at (213) 847-4262.
