A Ventura County Superior Court judge on Monday ordered a 35-year-old Thousand Oaks woman to stand trial for allegedly having sex with a teen-age boy more than once a month for 2 1/2 years.

During a preliminary hearing, a Ventura County sheriff’s detective testified that the victim, who is now 18, told him his sexual relationship with Gloria G. Goldman began in August, 1991, and continued until several months ago. The boy said they often had sex twice a week, Sheriff’s Detective Bob LeMay testified.

The allegations surfaced after the boy confided in a man LeMay described as a spiritual counselor. The counselor then called the Sheriff’s Department.

The boy told LeMay that his sexual relationship with Goldman, whom he called Gigi, continued even when her family vacationed with his. The boy alleged that he had intercourse with her on trips to Big Bear, Lake Powell, Utah and Disneyland, LeMay testified.

The detective also testified that the boy’s mother recently told him that the boy had recanted his allegations. But LeMay said he had not spoken to the boy about that.

Another teen-age boy, who occasionally cleaned Goldman’s pool, testified Monday that he had never had a sexual relationship with her.

Goldman is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court on June 27. She remains free in lieu of $10,000 bail. She faces 11 counts of a lewd act upon a child, 18 counts of oral copulation and two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse.
