Trimark Sues Disney’s Miramax Over ‘Meltdown’ Film: The independent movie firm sued the Walt Disney Co. unit and film distributor August Entertainment, alleging August reneged on an agreement to sell Trimark distribution rights to the upcoming movie starring Dolph Lundgren. Santa Monica-based Trimark is seeking $20 million in damages. The company alleged that August instead sold the movie’s distribution rights to Miramax despite a previous purchase agreement made at last month’s Cannes Film Festival in France. A Disney spokesman said the company does not comment on litigation. Filming on the project is scheduled to start later this month.
