Some Dallas security volunteers for the World Cup are not thrilled with their outfits, which are military-looking, khaki uniforms, replete with purple berets.

When asked what he thought of his garb, one volunteer countered, “What do you think of it?”

Then he and a friend covered their identification badges for fear of being identified.

Assured of confidentiality, one of the security men said of the beret, “I would describe it as a purple, winter toupee in the middle of summer. Not very fashionable.”
