SIMI VALLEY : Free Dump Site to Reopen in July
A free Simi Valley dump site that closed Feb. 13 will reopen in July to help residents still rebuilding from the Jan. 17 earthquake.
The Simi Valley City Council agreed this week to spend $20,000 to reopen the dump for four months beginning July 5.
A staff report said the city expects to collect debris in excess of the 9,000 tons dumped while the site was open after the earthquake.
