Titans’ Horton Weighs Washington State Job
The head baseball coaching job at Washington State is George Horton’s if he wants it, but the Cal State Fullerton associate head coach said Tuesday he hasn’t decided if he will accept the position.
Horton said he will decide this week.
“My wife and I will discuss it and then make a decision,” Horton said. “One of the factors to be considered is that my wife has a great job here as an office supervisor for a dental group.”
Horton has been at Fullerton four years. The Titans have reached the College World Series twice during that time (1992 and ‘94). He was head coach at Cerritos College six years before that, compiling a 226-53 record.
