Conference at UCLA on Mid-Size Theaters
A two-day conference to discuss the need in Los Angeles for mid-size movie theaters will be held July 9-10 at UCLA.
The Audrey Skirball-Kenis Theatre and Mark Taper Foundation will host the event, with speakers including Sid Gants of Sony Pictures and Laura Zucker, executive director of Los Angeles County Music and Performing Arts.

Theater conference-- The Times reported incorrectly in Thursday’s Calendar section that a conference July 9-10 at UCLA sponsored by the Audrey Skirball-Kenis Theatre and the S. Mark Taper Foundation will address the need for more mid-sized movie theaters. In fact, the conference addresses the need for more mid-sized theaters for stage productions.
