Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc.: The Garden Grove manufacturer of memory subsystems reported a first-quarter net loss of $569,232, or 4 cents a share, contrasted with a profit of $317,258, or 2 cents a share, for the corresponding period in the prior fiscal year. Sales for the quarter ended May 31 were unchanged at $2.7 million. The company attributed the loss to start-up production complications.
