GLENDALE : Applicants Sought for 2 Commissions
The city clerk is asking residents to apply for vacancies on the Planning Commission and the Transportation and Parking Commission.
There is currently one opening on the Planning Commission and three spots available on the Transportation and Parking Commission. Those appointed to fill the vacancies will serve three-year terms.
Planning commissioners review developers’ construction plans and make decisions involving land use in the city. This commission advises City Council members how they should proceed on each project.
The Transportation and Parking Commission reviews proposed roadway improvements and makes recommendations to the council on transportation policy and parking programs.
Those interested can pick up an application at the city clerk’s office, 613 E. Broadway, Room 110. The filing deadline for all vacancies is July 6.
