Gheorghe Hagi, a thespian on and off the field, wore a blank look when he was asked about John Harkes’ charge in Sunday’s game at the Rose Bowl.
“ Que? “
The question was repeated for Hagi, who speaks Spanish, as well as a smattering of English.
“The referee decided it,” Hagi said, shrugging his shoulders.
Minutes later, Hagi was asked about causing the yellow card by a new group of reporters. But the interpreter refused to translate the question.
