HUNTINGTON BEACH : Farmers Market to Extend Friday Hours

The hours for the city’s farmers market will be extended Friday to allow people who have daytime jobs to shop for fresh produce after work.

Hours will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Regular hours are from 2 to 6 p.m. But if extending the market for one extra hour is successful, it may be continued through the summer.

The market features 25 to 30 farmers who sell fresh fruits and vegetables.

The market is at the southwest corner of Main Street and Orange Avenue, three blocks north of the city’s pier.
