Russian defender Viktor Onopko said he was surprised that any team could score six goals in a World Cup game. But when it happened in his team’s 6-1 victory over Cameroon on Tuesday, he said he was not surprised it came against an African team.
“Cameroon’s defense was very weak, disorganized,” he said. “That is not only the Cameroon team but a specific feature of the African teams. They are disorganized.”
