We Americans might be learning soccer, but it seems as if geography is still a problem for some of us.

After Saudi Arabia’s victory Wednesday over Belgium, ESPN commentator Bob Carpenter said the Saudis were the first Asian team to advance to the World Cup’s second round since Morocco in 1986.

We would have thought he had seen “Casablanca” enough times to know that Morocco is in Africa.
