Volunteers Sought to Repair Homes

Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County, a nonprofit organization that provides housing for low-income families, is seeking volunteers to help repair homes damaged in the Jan. 17 earthquake.

Volunteers are needed to help with construction and manage projects. The agency is also seeking office space and equipment.

Those wishing to volunteer or make donations can attend the agency’s weekly meeting at 7:30 p.m. today at Simi Covenant Church, 4680 Alamo St., Simi Valley, or call Kathy Sube at 532-7265 or Jerry DeVillers at 482-7132.
