PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Chandler Picks Up Slack for Miller in Passing Drills

Share

With starting quarterback Chris Miller excused from workouts to be with his wife and newborn son, much of the Rams’ pre-camp passing drills have been in the hands of Chris Chandler, who has made a strong impression with new offensive coordinator Chick Harris.

Chandler, an off-season free-agent acquisition from Phoenix, is projected as the backup to Miller, who’s coming off two knee surgeries. Chandler and T.J. Rubley, a part-time starter last season, have worked with most of the top wide receivers in the first two days of drills.
